As a delta of research and practice, Para-Phen is a means to explore methodologies to bridge the gap between third-person and first person measures that reflect phenomenal experience in built environment. Springing from the foundations of Science Informed Design, it encapsulates the process of observing, measuring, articulating, and evaluating the potential of a space (or any other artefact or medium) to impact human experience to enrich built environment practices and nudging the paradigm towards Conscious Design.
