Mark Bessoudo is Global Research Manager (Property & Buildings) with WSP in London. Previously, he was research manager and green building consultant with WSP’s Sustainability & Energy group in Toronto. His work focuses on ideas and strategies that help create healthier, more sustainable buildings and cities.
Mark is editorial consultant and frequent contributor to The Possible, a print magazine and website that explores ideas for improving buildings, cities, and society. His writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Conscious Cities Journal, The Globe & Mail, New Philosopher, Canadian Architect, Sustainable Building & Design, among others. In 2016 Mark was awarded the WSP Global Innovator Award for his thought leadership on the role of philosophy in the engineering profession.
