Cleo Valentine

Cleo Valentine is a multidisciplinary data systems designer & neuroaesthetic researcher. She currently works at Open Systems Lab (formerly Wikihouse), a non-profit R&D company developing digital technologies to transform housing, construction, planning and cities. Her research on architectural neuroaesthetics, based at the University of Oxford, sits at the intersection of neurocognition, evolutionary psychology and design philosophy, with a focus on the impact of aesthetics on human health. Currently, Cleo is a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art in London, UK.  In the past, she has held guest tutorial positions at the Architecture Association, as well as presented her research at events hosted by Foster + Partners and EIT Climate-KIC.
