A science-informed, human-centered training connecting neuroscience with architectural theory and practice.
Core neuroscience topics are integrated with design elements such as light, materials, biophilic strategies, and active environments, explored from an architect’s perspective focused on user experience and long-term well-being. Across nine modules, the course builds a shared conceptual framework to understand how environments influence brain, body, and behavior over time, emphasizing systemic thinking, cognitive resilience, ethical responsibility and the cumulative effects of everyday environmental exposure.
Neuroarchitecture is explored critically through online live classes, handouts, case studies and applied exercises, supporting the responsible translation of science into design.

Goals

  1. Learn a science-informed and human-centered approach to spatial design
  2. Understand how environments shape users at cognitive, emotional, and behavioral levels
  3. Build a structured understanding of relevant scientific evidence
  4. Apply science-informed and human-centered thinking in real design contexts
  5. Strengthen your professional profile with portfolio-ready work
