Dr Mahan Aslam is a medical doctor and public health advocate from Balochistan, Pakistan, working at the intersection of health equity, mental health, gender justice, and climate resilience. As the co-founder of Baloch Zaalbol Hub, she creates healing-centred spaces where women and young people engage in storytelling, dialogue, and collective care to strengthen resilience, wellbeing, and belonging. Her work integrates mental health into initiatives on sexual and reproductive health and rights, youth leadership, and community resilience, with a commitment to ensuring that care is culturally rooted and shaped by lived experience. She is passionate about building community-led solutions that centre healing as a pathway to more just and equitable systems.
