Dr. Mahan Aslam is a medical doctor from Balochistan, Pakistan, working at the intersection of public health, mental health, and gender equity. She is currently working in Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, practicing trauma-informed and patient-centered care. Mahan is the co-founder of Baloch Zaalbol Hub, a women-led initiative advancing youth empowerment, community healing, and mental health in marginalized communities. Her work focuses on health equity, culturally grounded healing, and strengthening resilience among underserved populations. She has contributed to global initiatives in gender equity, menstrual health, and climate-related mental health, and her research and writing centre on women’s mental health and justice-oriented public health systems.
