The Centre for Conscious Design (CCD) is excited to announce a call for submissions the next edition of the Conscious Cities Journal.

We are seeking insightful essays, case studies, opinions + thought pieces, and photo essays that delve into the complex interplay between health, wellbeing, and the principles of Conscious Design.

What We’re Looking For:

We invite contributions that examine how environments can influence health outcomes, promote mental and physical wellbeing, and embody the Conscious Design Principles of the CCD. Whether through case studies, theoretical explorations, or innovative design proposals, your work should provide a thoughtful analysis of how mindful design can transform our living and working spaces for the better.

Submission Guidelines:

– Length: 500-3500 words

– Format: Word or PDF format document, including photo essays. 

Topics May Include, But Are Not Limited To:

– Design strategies that promote mental health and physical wellness

– The role of urban design in supporting community health

– Innovative solutions for integrating health-focused design in urban planning

– Case studies on successful health-oriented design implementations
