Founder of Tianmei’s World Academy
Shanghai, China
An environmental psychology researcher, educator, urban planner, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges systems thinking, trauma-informed research, and regenerative design. Adina hold an MSc in Environmental Psychology from the University of Surrey and a BA+MA in Urban Planning and Design from the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism. She is the 2025 Klaus Töpfer Sustainability Fellow at the Research Institute for Sustainability at GFZ (RIFS) in Potsdam, where she explores how redefining “business” as “an entity that solves social issues and creates social value in a financially sustainable way” can help cities, economies, and communities become more inclusive.
As the founder of Tianmei’s World Academy—a decentralized “network of classrooms” cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary learning platform—she applies environmental psychology knowledge to nurture inclusive, healing environments. With 10+ years’ cross-functional experience (sustainability, architecture, sales, marketing, customer service, IT, operations), her work integrates urban planning, social entrepreneurship, education, and mental health.
She is currently in process of writing my first book, Redefining Profit: Redefining Business for a Regenerative Future.
