Raquel Guerra Aragonés is a multidisciplinary architect, researcher, and musician. She has participated in research projects, patents, university programs, and conferences on bioclimatic architecture, circular construction, and urban renaturalization through green façades and roofs. In recent years, she has worked in information architecture within IT companies, developing digital tools for architects focused on decarbonizing the construction sector.
Currently, she combines her independent practice as a consultant in climate-responsive design, healthy materials and circular construction with educational projects in these areas. Her research interests in neuroarchitecture and conscious design focus on neurodiversity and giftedness, resilient design for neurominorities, and cross-modal experiences in creative processes.
She supports peaceful activism in the fight against climate change, advocates for architects’ rights, and promotes inclusivity for neurodivergent individuals. Driven by this leitmotif, she has collaborated with URNet (Urban Resilience Research Network) and founded various initiatives such as ACAN Spain (Architects Climate Action Network), DFARnet (Design For All Research Network), and STAP Network (Stop Toxic Architectural Practices).
