Layla McCay talks to Karina Lozano about the Restorative Cities Framework, detailing the 7 pillars and the benefits in mental health.

Layla McCay is Director of the Centre for Urban Design and Mental Health, London. A psychiatrist and public health specialist, she is co-editor of Urban Mental Health and managing editor of the Journal of Urban Design and Mental Health; she features regularly in a wide range of print and broadcast media, from The Financial Times to BBC Question Time. Her book Restorative Cities: Urban Design for Mental Health and Wellbeing by Jenny Roe and Layla McCay was published this year.

Karina Lozano is the founder of Arquitectura Entorno Energia, an architectural design firm that applies Magnetism, Psychology, and Neuroscience concepts into their projects. Karina applies a systemic understanding of the human being and the place. She is certified in Bioenergetic Design in Malaysia and in Neuroscience for Architecture, Design and Urbanism in the US. In Monterrey, she started the first mexican chapter of The Centre for Conscious Design.
